Beaudreau is a Signature member of the Pastel Society of the West Coast and a juried member of the Pastel Society of America. Her work has received many awards, including a Purchase Award in the Yosemite Renaissance XXI Exhibition and several Awards of Merit at the California State Fair. Many of her pastels are in private and corporate collections across the country.
She is a native Californian, born in southern California. She has lived and worked in New York City, Santa Fe, New Mexico and San Francisco, choosing in 1978 to make her home in the foothills of central California.
Some of her vibrant pastels are created "en plein air", others are studio paintings; all reflect her delight in nature's wonders, often found in landscapes with a focus on the rich trees or brilliant flowers of the earth. If water is the focus it might be the reflective blue water in a drainage ditch, the calm swells of an ocean bay or the vivid sparkle of a fast moving stream. Some of the wonders are people and the environments they have created, so they are sometimes her subjects as well.
Her phone number is (209) 984-2004.
